I am a fist generation Californian, so I can't really trace my roots very far back at all.
My dad tells me that he came here so he can have a greater opportunity in work. He then met my mother and he told me they stayed in California to give their family(children) a better opportunity for education.
I think the 'type' of people that move to California are the type of people who like adventure. There is so much to do in Cali and there is so much beauty. I think the people in California come to make a decent life for themselves. California is... well was one of the wealthiest states in the country.

Literary Circle.

The actual ending was almost what I expected but it had a twist in it. There was a battle scene at the end between torak and hord. Hord and the bear die due to an avalanche. I thought wolf and torak would be together i nthe end, but wolf had found a pack right at the end. Torake swore him and wolf wolf e together again.

Humans are animals

I believe that humans have a great capacity of being good and achieving greatness. In human nature there is envy, greed, hatred, racism and ignorance. All of these traits will eventually lead to out own downfall. We are the only animal that can be provoked into violence just because we received an unpleasant look from another human being. We are the only animal that takes value in these little pieces of paper, we call money. We kill other animals, merely for sport. We are not all completely evil. We can reach out to one another in time of need.

New Version of Huck Finn

I do agree with the point of view the writer is trying to argue. I don't believe that the word 'nigger' should be replaced in the book. By taking out the word I think americans themselves would lose part of their culture. Part of the reason they are trying to block out the word is because they are uncomfortable, not just because they want to be politically correct.
